3. Orders and Payments
- Quotes: All quotes provided are estimates based on the information provided during consultation. Final pricing may vary based on precise measurements and material selection.
- Deposits: A deposit may be required to begin custom manufacturing. The deposit amount will be communicated during the consultation process.
- Payment: Payment terms will be outlined in your quote and agreement. We accept major credit cards, checks, and electronic transfers.
- Refunds: Custom products are non-refundable. However, we stand behind our craftsmanship and will address any manufacturing defects or installation issues promptly.
4. Consultation and Measurement
- Appointments: Consultation appointments must be scheduled in advance. We strive to arrive at the agreed-upon time.
- Measurement Accuracy: We take precise measurements during the consultation. You agree to provide accurate information about your space.
- Access: You must provide access to all areas requiring window treatments. Any obstacles or special requirements must be communicated in advance.
- Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel an appointment at our discretion.
5. Installation Services
- Professional Installation: Our certified installers will handle the full installation process.
- Preparation: You are responsible for ensuring the installation area is clear of furniture, artwork, and other obstacles.
- Warranty: We warrant our installation work for a specified period. Details will be provided in your installation agreement.
- Damages: We take care to protect your property during installation. Any accidental damage will be promptly addressed.
6. Product Warranty
JBD Blinds stands behind the quality of our products. Our warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
- Hardware and operating mechanisms
- Fabric integrity under normal use conditions
The specific warranty period varies by product and will be detailed in your purchase agreement. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or improper use.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of JBD Blinds and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, or government actions.
10. Cancellation Policy
- Consultations: You may cancel a consultation appointment with at least 24 hours' notice.
- Orders: Orders already in production may not be cancellable. Please discuss cancellation terms with your consultant.
- Deposits: Deposits are generally non-refundable once manufacturing has begun.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Illinois.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
